KICKSTART TOURNAMENT WINNERS!!!!!

The boys did an amazing job of going undefeated in their games during the indoor/outdoor tournament last weekend. Super impressive considering that this was just going to be a warmup for the boys and to get them used to playing on a regulation sized field again. Way to go! Let's hope they can continue this throughout the season.
 

And soccer season is gearing up again! This weekend we have a tournament to get us started for the year. We will be playing at Gretna Sports Complex, 10550 S. 222nd Street, Gretna, NE. Games are as follows:
Saturday: 1015 vs Gretna Sounders GSC1 (indoor field), and 215 vs TBD on GSC3N which is outdoors.
Sunday: 845 vs Gretna the Crush on GSC1 (indoor) and 600 vs Bellevue Phantoms on GSC3N (outdoors).

After an incredible 2-0 win over Dakota Alliance during the day, we met again in the evening championship. It was a tough game and Dakota scored first, putting us on the chase for the rest of the game. Clay came through in the second half and scored the tying goal. Way to go Clay! There were a lot of shots and a goal called back that would have given us the lead, but we ended the game tied so that we had to go to penalty kicks for a game decision. Since I wasn't there I don't know exactly who took the shots, other than I know Sebastian went first and scored and then had to make some great saves and in the end we won on penalty kicks to claim our trophies! It was a hard fought game and incredibly well deserved, way to go boys, you rock!
