Goals

• Opportunity for skill development with moderate commitment.
• High degree of contact with the ball.
• Minimal time sitting o­n the sideline.
• Switching positions each game to allow players to change roles o­n a team (U7, U8).

U5 and U6

• Teams will no longer be coed.
• All games are played at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn.
• One game per week on Saturdays, no practices at this age group.
• Play 3 v 3 with no goal-keeper.
• U5 soccer is open to children born between 8/1/07 and 7/31/08.
• U6 soccer is open to children born between 8/1/06 and 7/31/07.

U7 and U8

• Teams will no longer be coed.
• One practice and one game per week.
• U7 plays 4 v 4 with no goal-keeper.
• U8 plays 5 v 5 with a goal-keeper.
• U7 and U8 games are played on Saturdays at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park.
• U7 soccer is open to children born between 8/1/05 and 7/31/06.
• U8 soccer is open to children born between 8/1/04 and 7/31/045
